Governance in the development sector ensures proper management practices, compliance of respective laws and strict adherence to best possible ethical standards. We at Abilashrayam comply to the principles of "Good Governance."

Policies

Abilashrayam emphasizes on creating policies that are in compliance with all legalities and modules of the concerned departments of both the state and the central ministries. Policies and decisions are put into effect after careful analysis and discussions with the panel members and individuals responsible for the operations of Abilashrayam. This ensures transparency in operations and strategic policy making possible.

Regular meetings of the Operations division, Executive committee, Advisory board and Board of Trustees are undertaken in policy making and decision making.

Credibility

We at Abilashrayam follow good governance policies and encourage all our partners to follow credible norms in the development sector to ensure good governance.

Partnering

Abilashrayam encourages partnering with other ngo’s to expand the scope of operations and achieve a wider impact ratio of social service objectives.

Audit system

We follow a Domain based audit system for every region, alongwith an Internal and External audit system. In this regard to ensure the effectiveness on the audit controls, we have appointed M/s Venkatesh, Bhaskar and Associates as the auditors to audit and submit the report.
